Hey, all! Welcome to the new and improved REESE FAN! You may know Reese as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde 1 & 2, June Carter Cash in Walk The Line, or even as Annette Hargrove from Cruel Intentions.
We are dedicated to bringing you the best in Reese Witherspoon news, HQ Photos ( 1000-1700px wide ), media, downloads, press and more!
More exciting news about Reese! What a treat to see/hear her sing again!
You can’t say “Is That All There Is?” about Reese Witherspoon’s career. She’ll play jazz great Peggy Lee in a Nora Ephron-directed biopic, writes Daily Variety.
This isn’t Witherspoon’s first time taking on the role of a famous singer. She won an Oscar in 2005 for playing June Carter in Walk the Line alongside Joaquin Phoenix, where she did all her own singing as the country star.
New movie for Reese and trailer is out!
It must be tough having to chose between two guys.
But that is what Reese Witherspoon’s character Lisa must do according to the trailer for her new film How Do You Know.
The film, in which she stars alongside Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd, is a romantic comedy about a professional female softball player who gets caught up in a love triangle with a corporate executive and a minor league baseball pitcher.
Pardon our absence, all, we’re in the process of merging with another Reese site and Nat’s trying to keep up with Eclipse while I’m having a bit of an issue with moving and time constraints. We’re actually looking for a little casual help, please get with us if you’re interested!
Right now, we’re tearing this site apart and trying to rebuild it piece by piece, including a new theme from Nat – please bare with us!
Flyby update, hope everyone’s new year is great so far! I’ve added 25 HQ press stills and 1 HQ poster from Walk The Line, blu-ray screencaps of which are coming as soon as I can manage them:
Reese was spotted at Hope for Haiti, the telethon that gathered celebrities from all over to raise money for the devasted Haiti. Faith added two images from the event which you can view below:
And here’s an article about the event from MTV
Friday night’s “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon brought together some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Some like Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper and Vanessa Hudgens, took to the phones to accept donations. While, other participants like George Clooney (one of the driving forces behind the event) and Robert Pattinson, who talked about the importance of technology during a crisis, shared stories from the aftermath of the earthquake. Then, of course, there were the performances. Singers like Jay-Z, Madonna and Beyonce took to the stage, some with surprising duets and covers. Needless to say, the night had its share of memorable moments. We share a few of our favorite highlights below.
It’s not often you see Hollywood’s leading ladies working side by side to answer phone calls. So it should come as no surprise, that we’re absolutely in love with this picture of supermodel Cindy Crawford and actresses Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore and Julia Roberts banding together at the “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon. Oh, and if you’re wondering why Drew’s got a clipboard on her, she told MTV News’ Sway during the MTV post-show that it was because Clooney asked her to be an assistant director at the event.
Justin Timberlake was one of the many artists at the “Hope for Haiti Now” benefit who took to the mic Friday night. He performed a powerful cover of Leonard Cohen’s song “Hallelujah,” which he said was fitting for the telethon during a post-show interview. He sang alongside Matt Morris, a former Mickey Mouse club member, who Justin recently signed to his label (we’ve got a feeling we’re going to be hearing a lot more from him!). Meanwhile, “Star Trek” actor Chris Pine manned the phone bank, answering calls from people who were interested in donating to the cause.
Click on any of the photos above to see who else donated their time to such an important cause, including the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Tobey Maguire, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt and more!
